Child Protection Authority investigates 250 children used to hold 'osari' trail

 

The National Child Protection Authority (CPA) launched an investigation today after a receiving a complaint against individuals who used 250 school children to hold a record breaking longest ‘osari’ trail at a wedding in Kandy.

The children were used to hold the ‘osari’ trail, yesterday.

National Child Protection Authority Chairman Marini de Livera said that discussions will be held with Education Department Officers on this regard.
