The Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) investigating the Treasury Bond issue has notified former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran to appear before the Commission on September 19.
The notification was issued after former Perpetual Treasuries Director Arjun Aloysius was summoned by the PCoI earlier today.
Arjun Aloysius was summoned to record a statement on recovered call recordings revealing him passing sensitive inside information on the February 27, 2015 Treasury bond auction which were received by a ‘powerful friend’.
