Pilots file RTI to Srilankan Airlines

The Airline Pilots Guild of SriLanka has filed an application under the Right to Information Act (RTI) to SriLankan Airlines seeking details of salaries, allowances of top executives of the airlines.

The RTI filing also calls for the details of agreements and other information between Sri Lankan Airlines and Pakisthan International Airlines (PIA).

The RTI filed on June 29, signed by Udayanga Stephen the Secretary of the guild asks the Airline to disclose information on the salaries and allowances paid to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Human Resources and the Chief Commercial Officer of the airline.

The final listing of the application seeks all information regarding the cost of personal flying training for the “A320 jet conversion borne by SriLankan Airlines and/or any other party” for the CEO of the airline.
