A woman was killed in a shooting incident, near the Jumma Junction in Maligawatta, Colombo last evening.
Police said the victim was shot when she was walking past a laundry at the Jumma Junction at around 6 p.m. last evening by two persons following her on a motorcycle.
She had succumbed on her way to hospital. She was identified as Mohomad Mummiri Sitthi Risesha (31) of Maligawatte.
