The United National Party’s May Day celebrations were held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium yesterday, under the patronage of UNP Leader and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Large crowds of party supporters from all parts of the country gathered at the Indoor Stadium and the Prime Minister and several other UNP senior leaders addressed the gathering. Members of all trade unions affiliated with the United National Party were present. The following are some of the highlights of the event.
