Police on Tuesday arrested a suspect with 600 tablets of the prescription drug Tramadol in Kalpitiya.
The suspect was reportedly defeated at the recent Local Government elections contesting under a leading political party for the Kalpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha, Police intelligence has uncovered that the suspect (32), residing in Kalpitiya has been involved in drug trafficking over a long period of time.
