Nuwara Eliya District MP and the Primary Industries Deputy Minister Muthu Sivalingam resigned from his position as Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) Chairman yesterday.
CWC Media Spokesperson Devdas Savarimuttu said that Sivalingham had to resign because of health reasons.
Following Sivalingam's resignation as the CWC Chairman,he has been appointed as one of the patrons of the CWC by Arumugam Thondaman.
