A person died after being knocked down by a container close to the Galkanda level crossing on the Colombo - Chilaw main road yesterday
Negombo Police sources said the victim (60) had died on admission to the Negombo base hospital
The body has been kept at the Negombo hospital morgue for identification.
Police seek public assistance to identify the body.
