Sri Lanka signs new Free Trade Agreement with Singapore

 

Sri Lanka signed a new Free Trade Agreement with Singapore before Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loon today.

The Agreement was signed during the visit paid by the Singaporean Premier to meet Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

According to Premier Wickremesinghe, trade between Sri Lanka and Singapore has grown by 35 percent since 2015.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loon is on a three-day state official visit to Sri Lanka at the invitation of President Maithripala Sirisena.
