A furniture store located close to Yakkala along the Colombo-Kandy road caught fire at around 2:30 pm yesterday. While the immediate cause of the blaze is unknown, fire engulfed the entire building reducing it to cinders. The fire brigade attached to the Gampaha Municipal Council doused the blaze.
