A van – motorcycle collision killed the forty- one-year-old motorcyclist on the Gampola – Nuwera Eliya road in Gampola last evening.
The deceased man, identified as Indika Nishantha Perera, succumbed to injuries after being rushed to the Gampola Hospital.
He was a resident of Galsirigama.
Post mortem examinations will be conducted today.
The van driver had fled the scene.
Gampola Police is investigating.
