Seventh Buddhist Summit of the World Buddhist Supreme Conference

The inauguration of the Seventh Buddhist Summit of the World Buddhist Supreme Conference took place at Temple Trees on Thursday under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Over one hundred Chief Sangha Nayakas from 47 member countries, Buddhist monks, scholars and devotees are attending this summit. Here, President Sirisena presenting Buddha statues kept in glass enclaves to the delegates, while Prime Minister Wickremesinghe hands over Dhamma Books.
