The National Deepavali Festival 2017 was held yesterday evening under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees. Hindus world over celebrate Deepavali, the festival of lights next Wednesday (18). The President along with the Prime Minister whilst giving priority to this religious ceremony offered their best wishes to the Hindu people in Sri Lanka.
