Police yesterday arrested former Deputy Minister Victor Anthony for allegedly obtaining Rs, 300,000 from a person of Nakulagamuwa by promising him a job in New Zealand. The former Deputy Minister was arrested on a complaint by the person.
The Deputy Minister was later released on bail after being produced before the Chilaw Magistrate yesterday.
