The Eastern, Uva, Northern and North Central provinces will experience thunder showers today and tomorrow after 2 p.m., the Meteorology Department said.
Fairly heavy rains of about 50 mm are expected in Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Mullaitivu, Vauniya, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa districts.
The Met. Department said that several spells of light showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North Western and Southern provinces and cloudy skies are also expected to appear in most parts of the island.
