Wanathavilluwa Police arrested three individuals who were loading a van with 24,700 narcotics and 15,000 abortion pills in Wanathavilluwa last night.
The boat in which the cargo had arrived, the van, abortion pills and narcotics were taken into custody by the Police.
The three suspects aged 41, 38 and 35 are residents of Negombo.
The suspects will be produced before the Puttalam Magistrate Court today.
Wanathawilluwa Police is investigating.
