A 44-year-old a police constable attached to the Kattankudy Police was found dead at the Karapala Police checkpoint in Kattankudy, yesterday.
The body was discovered by Policeman who went to take over duty. It is believed that he may have died of a heart attack. The body was sent to Batticaloa Teaching Hospital for a post mortem.
Kattankudy Police are investigating.
