A group of individuals have broken in to a mobile phone shop located close to the Dambulla City main bus halt and robbed Rs. 30,000 last night, Dambulla Police said.
The suspects have damaged the front door and the showcases inside the shop.
The owner of the shop alleged that this robbery occurred due to the removal of Police surveillance from the area.
Dambulla Police is investigating.
