A delegation of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) paid a courtesy call on the
Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Kapila Waidyaratne PC at the Ministry premises on August 16, 2017. Head of the International Committee of Red Cross in Sri Lanka Ms. Claire Meytraud had cordial discussions with the Secretary on matters of mutual interests and bilateral relevance during the session.
The Secretary also presented a memento to the Head of the International Committee of Red
Cross in Sri Lanka. Newly appointed deputy head Zakaria Maiga was also present on the occasion.
