A high tech deep sea exploration vessel was handed over to the Navy yesterday by President Maithripala Sirisena. The event was held at the Colombo Port East Terminal. The ship, manufactured in Goa, India, is named “Sayurala”. The vessel is 105.7 metres long and its width is 13.6 metres. Pictures by Sudath Malaweera
