A report compiled by an expert team from the World Health Organisation(WHO) submitted a report in finding a sustainable solution to the Dengue outbreak, to the Health Ministry.
A spokesman for the health ministry said that the team had visited the country in order to help devise a long term solution to control the epidemic.
According to the spokesman the report consists of a strategy that is capable of reduce the current dengue mosquito density and the number of dengue patients in the country by 50 percent within a period of four weeks.
The WHO team handed over the report to Minister Senaratne at the National Blood Centre at Narahenpita.
