Former Senior Deputy Inspector General Lalith A. Jayasinghe alleged to have harboured, concealed and assisted the main suspect, Swiss Kumar of the Vidya Sivaloganathan rape and murder case was further remanded till August 8.
The order was issued today by the Kayts Magistrate.
Jayasinghe was the Senior DIG of the Kandy Division at the time of the arrest.
