The Health Minister Rajitha Senarathne ordered to take legal actions against private hospitals and laboratories which violate the price ceiling for blood tests used to diagnose dengue fever.
Minister Rajitha Senarathne on June 19 ordered the reduction of prices for blood tests relevant to diagnose Dengue.
The reduced price of a Full Blood Count (FBC) is Rs.250 and Dengue Antigen Test (NS1) is Rs.1000. These reduced prices are valid until further notice.
