Three customs officers alleged to have been involved in the recent discovery of 218 kg of cocaine concealed in a sugar container were transferred today.
Earlier today the seven suspects involved in transporting the narcotics were further remanded till July 26 by the Mount Lavinia Magistrate.
Mount Lavinia Police arrested the seven suspects on July 19.
The suspects, including the two individuals who possessed two cocaine packs are said to be employed at the Ratmalana Economic Centre.
The Narcotics Division is investigating.
