The Iftar festival (Muslim Majlis), of the Sri Lanka Port Authority (SLPA) was held at the port premises under the auspices of Ports and Shipping Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe. One million rupees provided by the Sri Lanka Port Authority for this festival was donated to the people affected by floods, according to the management of Muslim Majalis.
The Iftar festival was organized by giving priority to religious rituals in the presence of Minister Samarasinghe.
