The Chief Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) organization Galagodaththe Gnanasara Thero withdrew the Fundamental Rights petition, submitted to the Supreme Court.
The petition was filed through a lawyer on June 13 requesting to prevent Gnanasara Theros’ arrest.
