The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) has decided to continue the strike which was begun earlier today.
The decision was made after the central committee meeting held today in Colombo.
The strike is against using water cannons at the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) anti-SAITM protestors who staged a demonstration at the Health Ministry yesterday.
