The Court of Appeal rejected the petition filed by the Perpetual Treasuries today against the Central Bank decision to limit their activities.
CBSL Governor Indrajith Coomaraswamy said on February 8, that the CB Monatary Board decided to curtail the activities of Perpetual Treasuries.
Two internal inquiries are underway and a notice to Inspector General of Police (IGP) to probe the allegations surrounding the CB was also issued, the CB Governor added.
