A bus driver who drove a private school bus with a full complement of 30 schoolchildren in a rash and negligent manner across the Pallewela rail crossing while the gates were being closed for an oncoming train, was apprehended by officers of Pallewela Police Traffic Division.
Police said the school bus was transporting children from Walbolana to schools in the Pallewela region.
The driver would be produced in Court.
