One person died when two lorries collided at Galahitiyawa in Madampe yesterday, Police said.
A 38-year-old driver of one of the lorries had succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
A trishaw too was damaged during the accident with the front wheel from one of the lorries which detached crashing into the trishaw.
Police are investigating.
