Part of the Mariyamman Kovil Arayampathy, Batticaloa construction work collapsed Saturday evening
Eighteen construction workers were badly injured.
All of the injured were initially admitted Arayampathy District Hospital and the seriously injured transferred to Batticaloa Teaching Hospital said District Medical Officer S. Almedha.
