Four State Ministers and four Deputy Ministers appointed under the new Cabinet reshuffle took their oaths before President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat, Colombo yesterday. They are Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena,(State Enterprises Development State Minister), Palitha Range Bandara (Irrigation State Minister), Vasantha Parakrama Senanayake (Foreign Affairs State Minister) and Eran Wickremaratne (Finance State Minister).
The new Deputy Ministers are: Lasantha Alagiyawanna (Finance and Media), Dr. Harsha de Silva (National Policy and Economic Affairs), Ranjan Ramanayake (Social Empowerment and Welfare and Kandyan Heritage) and Karunaratne Paranavithana, (Skills Development and Vocational Training).
