Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe instructed Law and Order Minister Sagala Ratnayake today to hold area Police Chiefs responsible if racism attacks are allowed in their territory.
Premier said this with the wake of the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) campaign led by its Leader Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera against minorities.
UNP MP Mujibar Rahuman said on May 21 that within the past week four mosques and 5-6 shops have been attacked by the BBS movement.
