The 120th birth anniversary of General Sir John Kotelawala, the third Prime Minister of Independent Sri Lanka and the benefactor of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University fell on April 4. A ceremony to mark the event was held at Gen Sir John Kotelawala Defence University with the participation of Army Commander Lt Gen Chrishantha de Silva.
