A lorry carrying timber collided with a three-wheeler in Dodamgolla, Bibile last night, killing the three-wheel driver and another individual on the spot.
The Police said that the lorry was transporting illegally cut teak timber.
The 22-year old lorry driver was arrested and produced before the Bibile Magistrate Court today.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to the Bibile Hospital for post-mortem.
Bibile Police is investigating.
